I love the subtly beautiful hymns that are often overlooked in our hymn book. I believe most of the sacrament hymns fall into this category. "In Humility, Our Savior" has the richest harmonies, I determined to make them come alive in this arrangement.

As a percussionist at heart, the rhythms of this song were designed to make you feel alive and motivated to open your heart to the Savior. Even though the lyrics convey submission and contrition (like a flower depends on God to sustain every aspect of its life), I tried to capture the hope I feel that comes from partnering with God to make MY life the best it can be. It starts (and continues) by committing myself to Him each week, in a specific and holy space, in Humility.
